This afternoon. Seriously! When you grow up, your parents become more like friends to you (hopefully). I tell them pretty much everything but sex stuff. Theyre smarter than I am from experience, so why not ask their advice? Doesnt mean that you have to take it. Sometimes they can see patterns in your behavior that you cant, so maybe their advice is good for you.

I am estranged from my parents now but I guess I would have to say that the last time I asked for any advice from my mother was when my oldest kids were little and if one of them got sick I would ask her about their symptoms. Of course that was way back in 1997 so it's been a long time. She used to ask me for alot of advice because I know about alot of other medical conditions and about medications...

i ask my parents for advise all the time and take it in to consideration when making decisions but as for listening to their every word not often, with age comes experience not necessarily wisdom i know some young people that are way more wise then some elders i know.

My guess is somewhere around junior high. They haven't even tried though in over 15 years. It's hard to offer advice to someone you don't really know.

I don't remember specifically but I'm 42 and my Mom is 70...I still ask her advice or opinion on things and listen to what she has to say. She didn't get to be that age by being stupid or foolish...LOL!

Never. They don't even try. Never have. And I turned out just fine, even though I was basically raised by the television, thank you very much.
