Well, I'm in Nova Scotia and there currently aren't any age laws when it comes to piercings and tattoos. I know a lot of 14 and 15 year olds who have had tattoos professionally done. In most places that I have heard of though around Canada, it's 16 and in the states I've heard 18. It varies from place to place. Google the name of the place you live with "tattoo age" or something. Worked for me.

well it depends on the state which you are in as to how old you half to be. I have never heard of having to be 21 anywhere. All you half to do is call your local tattooist or police station or you can look it up in a search engine such as yahoo or google in ref to tattoos laws in the state you are in. States that allow minors to get tats the minor must be 16 with parental consent. States like oklahoma you half to be 18 no matter what so just check the laws in your state.

the majority of states it is 18 with out parental permission. usually if you are underage you just have your mom go with you to sign a release form. but any tattoo artist who cares at all about his art will not tattoo anyone under the age of 16.

Depending on the normal rules of your country ,, ex>> u are not supposed get a driving licence until ur 18years of age .. So if ur not in a hurry ... stay rather thatn going for tats now it self 'cos it will hurt u very much .. but do not mind if u can bear the pain...even after 18year.. What ever the age it will hurt u ..

I think it depends where you go and where you live. Some places its 18 while others you can go whenever as long as your parent goes with you. Call your local tattoo place and ask.
