Call them, tell them you need to talk in person.
NEVER break up with someone over the phone, that is extremely tacky.
Be sure that when you talk to them that you are resolute about your decision, you most certainly cannot stay with someone just because you feel guilty about the decision to break up with them. Essentially it is your choice, and NO one is going to like being broken up with. It is kind of a sense of being rejected by someone, and who wants to be rejected? It makes people feel bad. That is just the way life is, and once you realize that the better off you are.

to tell u the truth iv don it!
a girl that i liked was gowing out with a horibell boy.so i toled hear a huge liy that he was gowing to dump hear on valentins day.
as soon as she heard this she went into the sckool yard smacked him across the face and went back into the sckool.
and what surprised me the most was that she asked me out!
and we are still gowing out now!!!

Are these friends of yours? If they were my friends, I would f#ck his girlfriend. Then I would tell him how I f#cked her, and he would probably get pissed and kick her to the curb. Vice versa in your case, trade the female for the male.
