First of all, the example that have been given to you by everyone here are what is classified as "ebonics", which is modern slang created and mostly used by African-American youth. This is not the same thing as American slang...however, it should be noted that there is no such thing as "American" slang as the country is so big, each region (sometimes each state) has their own slang. For example, I live in Massachusetts. We use slang here that nobody else in America uses. I also have friends from Iowa, Georgia and Texas. They have slang of their own. There have been times I had no idea what they were talking about and vice versa. Now, "ebonics" (I don't really like that phrase, but I can't think of anything more PC at the moment) is the slang that is non-regional, but not everyone uses it. Because frankly, not everyone can get away with it...or depending on the accent you have, you are going to sound pretty damn stupid speaking with that kind of slang. Like a thick southern accent would be kinda laughable with that kind of slang.
Anyway, your best bet would be to try wikipedia and look up American regional slang or something to that effect or just "slang" and see what shows up. Good luck.

Here's an interesting website, with a lot of background on slang, what it is and isn't, and some examples:
