You should tell him how you feel before you hook him up...if there is a chance it may work out in your favor. But you have to swallow your pride and be bold sweets.

Polietly tell the guy you like that your not willing to do this. You may even want to tell him why (because you like him) But also tell him that if he likes her that much that he needs to ask her himself. Keep your eye on him and don't get to involved; it sounds like he is attracted to someone else.
