For the money I'd go with a Long Island Ice Tea......it's got ton's of hard alcohol in it and it's pretty smooth and tasty going down!

Real alcoholics prefer vodka. It's the "cleanest" drink, really gets you going and has minimum negative hangover effects compared to other drinks.
As far as "taste good", there are too many people out there who prefer absolutely different things.

Pineapple Rum with Vodka orange juice and pineapple juice with a slice of pineapple, its fruity but it tastes good and you can do it 50-50 and it is bomb, if you dont drink too often start like 35-65

When partying in a pool, beach or similar, always a Piña Colada (rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice).
When it's too hot, a frozen daiquiri (rum, lemon, sugar)
When playing cards, talking with friends, in a nice and not to fast night, I drink a French Connection (brandy, amaretto) or an orgasm (Coffee liquor, bailey's, amaretto)
On pubs, mojito is a good choice for me (rum, mint, sugar)
When I'm in observer mood, wine.
If I want to go fast, to get involved, a ferrari!. (shot of tequila with tabasco)
For not to be stopped, pisco sour (pisco, lemon, sugar, egg)
As you can see, it depends on the mood!

Messed Up - Grain alcohol mixed with anything. (We got banned from a campground because of it!)

well i personally love, Pina Colada's. Screwdrivers are not bad. as for getting totally messed up I've been told that audiosmutherfuckers or something like that are great for getting messed up big time.

Made w/ vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice & triple sec.
Tasty! and fun to drink!
