No, it bothers me when I get thumbs down, and I have taken the time to write a thoughtful thorough response though.

I don't understand why I get a thumbs down for a perfectly correct answer. There are some questions which people disagree on but a question like "What is the capital of Spain" for example has only one answer...why would someone give a thumbs down to someone who answers Madrid?

Whenever I ask a question and get an answer I always make sure (if its a good honest answer and not some **** messing about) to give the person who took the time to reply a thumbs up.

Its just common courtesy

I don't mind quite as much when I don't get a thumbs-up, however I do sometimes get thumbs-down when I really don't know why, when I *know* my facts are correct and I wasn't confrontational or anything. That seems just stupid. It also bothers me when answers that are incorrect (factual, not just in my opinion) get thumbs-up. If it's just a poll & everyone is only providing their opinion then I don't care but facts should be correct.

No it doesn't bother me at all, i'm not here for thumbs up or down, nor for gaining points. Btw i don't know how to give a thumbs up or down, i click on the icons and nothing happens.

HEY. watch your language. but NO not everyone's gonna give you a thumbs up. just live with it, because sometimes people forget. they can't go around clicking the thumbs up or thumbs down sign for every single answer they get. it's too much work.

Very often I get thumbs down. And I don't mind really. I do like to get points though.

no, i'm more bothered by people that give thumbs downs for good answers or even when they answerers state their opinion (like when the asker says tea or cofee? and all the coffee answers get thumbs down or vice versa)

They are HATERS, and wish they had the ability/knowledge to give a perfectly good and helpful answer, they do not, they then give you a thumbs down!!!

Not really...well, maybe a little. What really bothers me is when I try to give someone a thumbs up and a little message comes up below it saying "Your session has expired. Please sign out and try again." It's just been doing that recently, and even if I do sign out, it still doesn't work.
