at least 3-4 months before. It would be kind of hard doing this at last minute; like a month. It take time to really get things together for **** like the prom if you are really trying to look your best.

Girls like to plan ahead, prom is a pretty big deal. Ask asap! She has to find the right dress, hair, nails.... Good Luck!
