Whats a good way to get to talkin' with a woman you like without sounding like some cheesy nerd? Or being like every other guy? If you have specific examples (guys or girls) I'd appreciate hearing them.

It's a tough one because when ever you get around someone you like, your mind draws a complete blank making it virtually impossible to be yourself, let alone say anything that doesn't sound idiotic. None the less, being yourself is exactly what you should be.
If she likes you, it won't matter much what you say to get things rolling. Tell her you like her earrings or the way she fixes her hair. See how she responds. If she says thank you and smiles, she probably likes you too. Introduce yourself. The conversation will flow. Make sure you ask her questions. Make sure you're listening and not thinking about what your going to say next. Pay attention to her cues. If she seems like she's cooling, it's time to back off. Tell her it was nice talking to her and go away nicely. If she continues to warm up to you, tell her that you'd like to take her out sometime. If she says she'd like that too, than plan the date right then and there. Get her phone number and call her the next day to tell her how nice it was to meet her and that you're looking forward to your date. Make it a short call...unless of course you get caught up in conversation with her - in which case, let it flow. Call her the day of your date to confirm time and place. Even the day before doesn't hurt. Make sure you both have a way of reaching the other if something comes up.

Well, that answer would differ from one situation to another. There is no miraculous, works-everytime formula that I can come up with. However, I am not a millionaire. Maybe you should try being one!?
Or you could develop something that I suggest you could be lacking by asking the question you posed.

confidence should never = cocky. just be yourself! women don't want to be with someone that in two months time turns into someone else....be yourself, that's unlike every other guy.
