I gave this girl I like a card/poem for Valentine's Day, and today she didn't talk to me and totally avoided me. (She knew I liked her before I gave her the card/poem.) What does this mean? Could I have possibly come on too strong with what I wrote to her? Is she just trying to avoid awkward conversation? Is there any chance that she likes me??

She may not have felt the same toward you and now you have put her in an awkward position of her knowing that you have strong feelings about her.

I think she just doesn't know what to say - if she knew that you liked her before that but she doesn't return your feelings then maybe she doesn't want to lead her on or perhaps she is just shy. Instead of talking about the poem - pehaps start a conversation on something else and she what happens next - you will only know if you try

Sorry but the truth is that she only want to be friends with you but with the Valentine's card you cross the line. This exact thing happened to my best friend who has a crush on my cousin and we go hiking etc together. One day he wrote her a romantic card, and my cousin talked to me what she should do... Basically after than she'd tried to avoid doing our usual hiking together. This quite likely your case.

if she knew you liked her before then she could of thought it was just a little crush but now that you gave her a card she feels that you realllllllly like her and maybe she feels like you want to start a realtionship but she just isnt ready to start dating or just doesnt have feeling for you
the reason she mihght of been avoiding you is because she may be scared that you may ask her out and she may want to avoid an awkward conv.
my advice is just talk to her and find out for yourself

don't freak out so much, lighten up! she may just have to think over her feelings for you. Don't push her into a conversation. Wait for her to come to you. If she takes mor then a week try texting her or calling her. If she still doesn't reply maybe ask her friends.

she could be shy and like you saud just trying to avoid the situation just try to talk to her but dont come on too strong until you are sure about how she feels about you
