painful spot?

i have numerous tattos and i know that some hurt worse than others.i want to get one on my neck kinda behind my ear.does anyone have one there and if so does it really hurt?

I'd have to agree based on what I've heard...not from my own experience as I don't have one located there. But, a couple weeks ago, I asked my tattoo artist (while he was beautifying my back) which of his hundreds of pieces hurt the most...neck was #2 on his list of most painful places! That's gotta tell ya something! (yeah...everyone's different and pain tolerance and all that...but when someone who's covered in ALOT of ink, names the neck that high up on the 'hurt like a *****' list, I'd say it's probably painful!)

I'd say yeah. From what I understand, bony areas hurt worse than fleshy. I've heard a few contradictions, but the common factor with those was prescription painkillers bout from the corner dealer.

If it's what you want, disregard the pain and get it. Better to have the tat you want where you want it than the one you settled for where it didn't hurt so bad.

I knew a guy that I worked with had a star behind his ear and it went down his neck. He said that it hurt like a ***** and that he cried like a baby. I also know a girl who has stars on her neck and she, too said that it hurt and that she'd NEVER do it again.

So yeah, it hurts like a *****.
