in the first place, xobrittanie91xo, Mikey not only drives the car, but he is the team owner. it is interesting that Mikey, the anointed leader of the new Toyota Camry race car intro into nascar would accept the idea of a adulteration of the fuel system
in his own car, one would think that if he knew of such an additive that it would have been used in another one of the cars he owns.
it is more likely, knowing Mikey's position with Toyota racing that the two that were punished the most ( crew chief Larry Hyde and racing director bob Kennedy), knew what was going on. it was only after the fact that Mikey knew what was really going on but failed to reveal the info to nascar, so at the time when he said it must be oil or something he was trying to cover every-body's butt's, the true Mikey. the "item" found below the intake manifold "has yet to be determined" but robin pemberton said it wasn't something that any regular joe could just go down to the corner store and buy, but when asked about the inspector reaching down there with his hand and coming in contact with the substance as to it's possible harm to the inspector robin said no and it was also mentioned that it had the consistency of petroleum jelly. i could suggest what it was but anyone CAN go
to the nearest dept. store and pick it up and is a old trick/cheat.

I believe Him. Michael, has never been that kind of driver and, I don't think He will be that kind of owner. besides, with Toyota just coming into the series, there was just too much at stake. I think it was just a case of an overly ambitious crew chief which is probably why Waltrip fired Him. in NASCAR, You have to do whats best for the team. also, today's NASCAR driver, doesn't spend nearly as much time around the shop as they did in the old days. team meetings and, working out with trainers is, just about as mechanical as most of them get, there are a few exceptions but, not many.

When you realize how much work Waltrip put into getting this team up and ready for this season you will then realize how ridiculous your remark is.
There is no way Michael would have jeopardize hundreds of hours of hard work to mess it all up with such a stupid action.
Someone changing a rear spoiler or lowering the car that is something but to ad a fuel boost???? that is pure ignorance. YOU know that this will get the attention of Nascar inspectors ... my idea? someone DOESN'T want to see TOYOTA or any other FOREIGN cars in nascar.
Wouldn't surprise me if it was a set up.

I beleive every driver is aware of what is going to be done with his car.He has to know what feels good to him an if for some reason it s in the "grey area" the team pushes it.This may have been the situation.

I don't know dude. I saw his interview a few minutes after he found out that Nascar found a problem with his intake manifold. He was really confused. I mean realllllllllllLLLLY confused. He could have known though. Who knows... besides Micheal of course.

Im not really sure he put on a really conviencing act, but you would think that they would tell the driver of the car about what they did with the car just incase of something bad happening with the car. but you never know!
