A girlfriend and a wife differ GREATLY! A girlfriend is someone with whom you have a committed, platonic relationship. You tell your secrets with her, but not your deepest feelings. When you marry, your wife is someone with whom you commit to love, cherish, and care for all your life 'til death do you part. Your wife is your other half. You care about her immensely. If someone laid a finger on her, you'd beat up that person. You want nothing but the best for her. You love her and would do anything for her. You share your innermost feelings with your wife, and she shares her deepest fears with you. If she got a severe illness, such as breast cancer, you wouldn't mind if you had to pay your life savings to find a cure so that you can keep her longer. That is what a wife is.

If you get itright they are both the same. I had a lovely girlfriend and now sheis my lovely wife and has not changed at all.
PS Yes I know I am so lucky. My last wife changed after a few months.

Give me a minute I will ask them both, LOL. Its a little gold band that each of you ware around your lift ring finger, but a girlfriend can mean the same thing if you are both committed to each other.

Girl friend is pay as you go system whereas wife is a life sentence(or a long term relationship) ,we like it or not.Both cost too much to have.

a wife is something of commitment, it means that you are ready to start a family and it is very serious...a girlfriend is more like lookimg for your life partner and "experimenting" with guys to see if you are both compatable
