I get a small painful bump on the roof of my mouth when I eat certain foods. It goes away with in minutes after I stop eating. Today it was a ham & cheese sammich with mayo & mustard. Whole wheat bread. I've eaten the same sandwich on other occasions without this happening. It's very intermitten. Also, it occurs with other foods sometimes :(

Sounds like you may have a minor food allergy. Keep a log of when this happens. It may also be a result of cross contamination. For instance,if the food you are allergic to was on a plate or used utensil on it,then you put the food or use utensil on it that you are NOT allergic to and get a reaction, some residue from food you are allergic to may have gotten onto the "good " food or you touched it. Oils on your fingertips can stir a reaction too.

It could be anything in the sandwich, or it could be when certain foods are combined (eg, I get an itchy throat if I have ketchup and pickles, but not if I eat either alone).
Keep track of what you eat (everything in the food) when you get the reaction. It might the type of cheese you were eating, it could even be a sensitivity to chemicals in processed foods (like nitrates in packaged ham).

I think so. When I eat certain foods it feels like cuts in my mouth. Like nuts or pineapple
