Why do you have a one month old puppy? Put it back with its mother. Did you buy it from someone? The care required by a 4 week old dog is way beyond most people can handle and your dog and is best left with it's mother. I would never bring a pup home unless it was 8 weeks old AT LEAST.
P.S. Honey, I had no idea people who were anacephalic could type! Good for you!

One month old need a real high quality protein packed food. I'd get some science diet canned food or some eukanuba canned food. I'd also start mixing it with some dry food as soon as his little teeth will tolerate the crunching.
You may also want to give him some milk suitable for puppies - as a supplement - in a bowl. It is packed full of nutrients and will help him off to a good start.

the better the food the better they do . I would start with hard food with water on top let it get soft and feed him. this way once he is start to eat well. then can put less water, so he has hard food to eat .I have a pit bull. He is 2 1/2 and a great dog. The way he was raise is the way he turned out.

The best tip is to keep it away from children.
The BBC news item below (Jan 2007) tells how a Pit Bull terrier savagely killed a 5 year old girl and almost killed her grandmother. The dog was owned by the little girl's uncle.
These dogs are banned in the UK under the Dangerous Dogs act of 1991. The Pit Bull is the FIRST dog to be specifically identified under this law and it is an offence to breed them or to sell them. The clear intention of the law is to rid the UK of all Pit Bull Terriers.
However you try, you cannot justify the risk to children. It would be better to rid the world of these dogs than to have one more little girl die in this horrific way. Enough said....I hope.
Get yourself a nice friendly dog. There are plenty to choose from.

First off..........how do you have a 4 week old? They should still be with the mom........ secondly........the idiot who first answered needs to be put to sleep. Not the puppy. He needs HIGH quality food and formula and lots of quality care. If you raise him from this age you will develop a relationship with that dog most people just dream of.

why do you have him when he is so young? are you a breeder if you are you shouldn't be if you do not know the answer to that question. and the first @sshole who answered needs to follow his own advice and put the rest of the world out of the misery of having him in it.

one month old pup is too young to be taken from the momma...
the pup is barely weaning...and when it is weaning...typically are fed high pro pup food with warm water in it to soften the food...
