I feel astrology is fairly reliable, but it all depends on what you want & where you get the info from.

Spiritual forces and the malleable dimension of time that are universal principals exist. Meaning whether you are at a spiritual state that sees truth in God (as I am) or those who are searching for it elsewhere (taro, astrology or opening any book and pointing) Universal spiritual truths exist. People ask and receive. That is a spiritual law.....it may have more to do with their own beliefs that they manifest a reality based on astrology, but the spiritual laws created by God are solid. So they can be utilized without using God's name to do so. It's like gravity or the speed of light....but it's good to Know the source and creator of these things. Once someone learns to simply ask God for these answers directly the flow is effortless, instant, and pure. I've tried so many things to confirm the spirit realm existing......guess what.... the people who start looking in any spiritual direction are on the right track. At least they believe it exists. Love all people ...things are not black and white.......God IS above all else.....as strange as it seems a little knowledge of the other forms of spiritual pursuit really does promote understanding and deepens the love of Truth exponentially.

Yeah... Astrology has a few discontinuities. For example, if the planets determine your future, then was everybody's future radically changed when Pluto was demoted? LOL, Ceres (an asteroid) used to be considered a planet too, as was 2003 UB313 (now called Eris).
But yeah, there's no scientific evidence to suggest that celestial motions affect your life (unless... ASTEROID IMPACT or NEARBY SUPERNOVAE *digs deep bunker*). But then again, there's no real scientific evidence to suggest Christianity is correct either, even though I am Christian.
So in all, I can see how somebody may be "eluded" into believing in astrology.

Why do people believe in Christianity or God. They have faith that it's real. When it comes down to it, do you have any proof that Astrology is not real? I'm not disagreeing with your idea that Astrology is a joke, but for some people it's just as real as Jesus and the rest of Christian dogma.

Nutrients ingested by the pregnent mother affect what goes to the baby in her womb, and so how it developes. These nutrients are affected by what season it is, through what is available. The stars are a way of measuring time. So it might have some effect. I don't buy it either though.

People are always searching for answers, reasons why, or for the unknown. Astrology may offer pseudo answers for some. It's something to believe in to help relieve confusion about the future. While it may not be right, it may offer some reassurance.

The bible says so.
Genesis 1:14
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
The signs referred to are clearly astrological.

Because it's superficial, a no brainer, and anybody can do it. Believing it is another story. Everybody on Wall Street would be lining up.
