Remove the positive battery cable from the battery. the starter is bolted on the right front ( driver side) of the bell housing. Remove the positive (large red) cable wire from the top of the starter and the small wires also. Look up: Toyota starters on line to see what they look like.There are only two or three bolts holding it in place.
