I am 16 years old, in high school, and live in the United States. I have some major paranoia issues that are really controlling my life. I do not even feel safe in my own home. I have been living this certain way for a few months now and I cannot take it anymore.

I am afraid to say that the list of my issues would be a tad long for yahoo answers.

What I would like is for someone to email to tell about my problems to (preferably someone who specializes in psychology or someone who knows about Paranoia).

Thanks

I also need someone who might know a bit about HIV...because that is a major fear to me right know even though I have never done anything that puts me at risk.

I understand how you feel. I am going through a huge paranoia about getting pregnant, even though I'm a virgin. My friends try to help me out so maybe you can talk to them about it. And I totally agree, the likelihood of finding a good specialist on here is rare. Email me if you need someone to talk to.

I am not a doctor, but I do know how it feels to be paranoid about things. Try making a list of your issues and then try to work through each thing that bothers you individually, don't combine them into one group, as you see your list decreasing you might feel better. I hope you get past this soon and wish you the best of luck, living each day in fear isn't living at all. Take care and Good Luck!

Well... Ok, let me ask you this first.... have you been in a relationship before where she have hurted you and left you to be very hurt and now you feel like all girls are going to do that? Secondly, when you mentioned about going to work and getting pulled over, are you speeding and you think you might get caught? How about your self esteem? What level do you think you're at? Maybe you don't have an issue.. I think you're just over thinking, silly... Just relax...

You will not find a medical professional on this forum. If you did, I would seriously question their credentials. They are far too busy aiding the need of those who require medical attention.

I suggest you seek a therapist or psychiatrist to help you with your ordeal.
