If you were to create your own language, how would you do it?

First I'd make an alphabet and make a different letter for each sound, even those elusive sounds like the soft "j" sound in raja. Then I'd save the hard consonant sounds for things I don't like: war, crime, death, hate, and use soft sounds for love, kitten, and baby. That's a good start anyway. :) I actually know a guy who created his own language and calls himself a "genius". Oh brother. Anyone who calls their own self a genius is loudly tooting an off-key horn. ;P
