I had 4 teeth pulled the other day and was wondering how many days before these stitches arent going to be poking the sides of my cheeks!

It usually takes about a week for them to dissolve. If they are bothering you, let them know and they can clip the pieces that are sticking you, only takes a minute.

It takes up to 4 weeks for the stitches to totally disapper. They will start to pull and fall off in about 2 weeks. It also depends on your diet and the temperature of your food intake and your body metabolism. Do not attempt to pull them off yourself! If they poke your cheek, perhaps they were not cut short enought. Ask your dentist to just cut them back a bit!

It's odd how they disolve. I had a tooth removed a month ago. About 2 weeks after the stitches broke (disolving stiches) and I was able to pull them out. You'll know when they pop. Give it time.

about 3-4 days. Sometimes it could take a week. i just had surgery donr last week and it took 3 days.
