I have very fair skin and my skin sometimes looks ghostlike. I want a self tanner that will just make me look alive. I have tried the sunless tanners that you apply and on each application they get gradually darker (lotions), but they smell bad and they are annoying to put on everyday. I tried the jergens fair and medium, and the loreal sublime glow in medium. I want to know if the other self tanners that you apply once a week actually work. I also want one that will not smell bad.
Any suggestions?
What consitency should i get?(lotion, mouse, or spray)
Would the once per week thing be too dark for me?
I would like one that could be use for both body and face or one that has both available.

i also heard that mixing together equal parts of lotion and tanning lotion works to tone down the color. Would that really work or make it uneven?

fake tanning = skin cancer. go ahead and "fake" tan if you are willing to accept the fact that one day you will end up with skin cancer.

Any self tanner sucks. If you want a tan a cheap way, go to somewhere that has a spray tanning booth. It's a little bit more expensive, but it's saving you from looking like a streaked freak in the end.

compared to what the different individual suggested, Jergen's organic each and on a daily basis Glow Lotion fairly works for me. It would not streak (basically make certain you wash your fingers/between your fingers after using). it is more beneficial sluggish besides the undeniable fact that, yet interior of a few days of utilising it you'd be tanner. i have been utilising the Jergen's convey lotion and it resources an like an instantaneous tan and tremendous colour, yet i'm having problems with streaking and that i don't think of that is all that water-resistant.

Fake Bake, its sold at Sephora, you can purchase it online also. Best time to apply is at night time, because you will look like you have rolled in the mud...lol. BUT, it will not get on your sheets, it dries up fairly quickly. And do not be afraid to apply because application is dark. But in the morning when you wash off, you will get a beautiful golden tan with no streaks and it lasts for a good week.
BTW- do not forget to exfoliate and use gloves when applying.:)
Good Luck!!

Bath & Body Works - smells better than the others and doesn't streak or turn you orange.
I have had the worst luck with Neutregena and Loreal - both smell horrible and streak and are very orange.
