It depends on the approach you use. Telling a woman "that dress looks very nice on you", "you have lovely eyes", or even " hello pretty lady" is fine, as long as the setting is safe and your demeanor friendly (staring or following her is a little creepy). Saying things like "DANG, baby, you're smokin' hot!" or "nice sweater" as you stare bug-eyed at her chest is definitely perceived as improper. Common sense and proper respect are the key, as is knowing when to quit. If she acts uncomfortable, move on.

No...it's great! What women doesn't like compliments? Especially ones that are true. Then again...it's how you deliver the compliment. Make sure you don't do it too many times or seem too eager because then it makes the compliment look unsincere. Just an "I love your eyes..they are a nice color." Or "You have a great body..you must work out." Instead of "wow..you're hot." Make the compliment unique to that person so she doesn't feel like it's a line. From there smile and introduce yourself.....works everytime!

It potential you're able to the two discover ways to love the cougars, or get a extra advantageous type. in basic terms be your self. the only element that is incorrect with you isn't accepting your self. do exactly notwithstanding you like. I even have under no circumstances cut back my hair, shave with a beard trimmer as quickly as a week, and positioned on ripped denims and a t-blouse, and that i'm getting with the help of in basic terms positive. in case you extremely need compliments from a chick, provide them something obvious to compliment you approximately: a different hat. A tattoo... something unusual. That'll wreck the ice

As long as it is done politely and nicely. I have worked as a cashier, and some men who were polite about it made me feel good when they complimented me. Others were jerks or really pushy and gross about it, and it was really uncomfortable and did not make me feel good at all. Be careful how often and how you do it. It can be really creepy the way some men do it, especially strangers.

No, as long as he is not being lude or sexist. Enjoy the compliment, maybe he is looking to start a conversation to get to know you, unless he uses a line like "If I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me!", the punch him in the throat...just kidding.

In the States, it's considered either a compliment or harassment.
In Spanish-speaking countries, it's completely normal.

i say not bad but my friend was accused of sexual harrassment at work for telling a co worker she looked nice that day. So I'd avoid any comment on looks at work. Stranger on the street might be safe.

if its not in a sleezy, i wanna get into your pants, kind of way then its fine. some women take that has a guy that just wants some, or if the woman doesn't see herself as attractive, it could be taken as an insult. you just kind of have to watch how you say it and what you say.
