Quran 20:53 "he (allah) who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out" http://www.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/020.qmt.html#020.053

Koko is a gorilla that knows over a thosand words and can speak in complex sentences of his own creation. Koko uses sign language and theres no mistaking his comperhension. For those of you who dont know about KOKO, visit http://www.koko.org/

When you study Islam, one of the many thing that is so stunning for the educated person is the complete reversal of human progress and intelligence. One cant help thinking, in light of what we now know about Koko and gorillas like her, how well Muslims stack up intellectually to Gorillas.

I wonder if Koko believes the earth is like a carpet spread out. She very well may, but I would like to know. Granted, Koko's physical limitations gives Muslims the advantage but then again, Koko doesnt believe in Islam so where does one distinguish the smarter?

"It is He Who has made the earth for you a bed and has caused pathways for you to run through it; and Who sends down rain from the sky and thereby We bring forth various kinds of vegetation in pairs." 20:54 (Counting the first verse, "In the Name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful")
This is the translation I refer to...and read the whole verse, and try to understand it...I am really sorry, but either you are really stupid, or this was just a really stupid question...
To understand more about the Holy Quran, Islam, and Muslims...go to
www.alislam.org
and please do not make stupid comments/questions like this again...before doing your part in the research and everything...ok...
And this verse is a great explanation of the earth. And try to understand similes and not to take everything literally...ok...

Well another spiritual book, says

Those who call upon the Lord shall be saved. It also says That it is by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Jesus came to save those who are lost of the tribe of Israel, and the Apostle Paul was sent to the Gentiles, I do not know who was sent to the ape population.

That spiritual book is

THE BIBLE.

Peace to you

He referred to Koko as a male once (probably by accident) and twice as the girl she is.

It has not escaped my attention that you refer to Koko as a male twice, then once as a female. She would be angered by that, but probably wouldnt strap a bomb to her chest to make her point either....

I don't think a Gorilla would be a good place to go for wisdom. It would be interesting, however, to see.
thanks for the link.

Arabs were quite innovative back in the day, but they have not caught up with the rest of the world...yet.
