I buy natural peanut butter, not the processed kind, and it always comes with the oil that is separated on top. The container says to stir in the oil, but I always just pour the oil out, and use the peanut butter. How many calories do you think I cut by doing that? Thanks!

I would leave the oil in. I also use natural peanut butter. This is not an unhealthful food by any means. Peanuts, among other nuts, are are good source of the "good" fats (i.e. unsaturated) and will raise your HDL's instead of your LDL's.

Pouring off the excess oil will reduce calories somewhat.
Read the nutritional info (about fat) on the container, estimate about how much oil you remove & this should give you some idea.
I've used natural peanut butter before, but I just stir in the oil.
It contains only the natural oil from the peanuts.
Peanut oil is high in unsaturated or "good" fats, which can reduce cholesterol.

I would try and do a google for calorie countring and see if you can enter in the product and get your answr that way, even maybe going to Fit tv.com and see if they have a section that will provide you with answers.
I wouldn't would to much about it, seeing as Peanut Butter anyway you buy it, is healthy for you.
