That means it's a buyers market right now. They're practically begging us to come in and take these gas guzzlers off their lots. I promise you, there are no salesmen bragging about how much gross profits they're holding now, LOL! If you're in the market for a new car, don't let them rip you off any more.

What part of the country are you in? Most dealers lots are not stuffed with any more inventory than normal, and the dealers that advertise that are just saying so to get people into their store, not their competitions.

People buy the same amount of cars, and the price of gasoline really does not affect the numbers of cars sold, it actually helps to increase car sales, for more people trade in their trucks and SUV's for cars.

No, Ford, GM, and Chrysler will put extra rebates on their vehicles simply to stave off the loss of sales to Toyota, but the market is still the same.

I don't think they have a stuffed inventory due to gas prices.

They have it stuffed because cars are over-priced and our salaries aren't going up as fast as the cost of living does.

I also think if you get "ripped off" in a car sale, is because you let it happen. If you go in as an educated consumer you're going to be just fine.

you don't be conscious of contemporary history. each little thing Obama has executed has brought about gas expenses to upward thrust. inspite of court docket orders, he has refused to allow new drilling interior the Gulf of Mexico. inspite of his own government's approval, he has refused to allow development of the Keystone pipe line. it could take 10 years to construct a sparkling oil refinery at a sparkling region. it might in basic terms take 30 months to place in the pipe line. Drilling in already approved aspects can initiate day after today if the government gets out of how. Obama is in many cases quoted with this outrageous fact: "decrease than my administration capability expenses will inevitably skyrocket." Obama can not administration and can't supply up drilling on inner maximum land for organic gas. via fact we've such an abundance of this organic source, the wellhead fee has dropped interior the previous 4 years, from $9.00 perMMbut to $2.50 according to MMbtu. At that low point, agencies are decreasing on production via fact they won't be able to make money. The loose employer device works.

my inventory is at similar levels to last year. gas is down, prices are up, and an informed consumer (as you obviously appear to be) will come to my office prepared to do an honest car deal, with me not ripping them off any more than they intend to rip me off.
