Enabling Start Run?

Question

In my start menu there is no run option like most computers. i am running Windows XP. Is there a way to enable it?

For Start Menu (non classic)
Right Click Tool Bar (bottom of screen) OR Click Start-Right Click on blue part next to Log Off- Start Menu Tab- Properties-Customize-Advance Tab-Scroll down- Run Command

For Classic Start Menu
Right Click Tool bar (bototm of Screen) Properties- Start Menu Tab- Customize-Display Run

if the computer you're on is blocking the 'run...' option, try the windows key + 'r', this will bring it up anyway.

(windows key has the windows flag on it, should be on the lower-left of your keyboard)

also you could do ctrl+alt+delete (bring up task manager) and run it from there (see the menu options).
