If the alarm clock or oven timer goes off she finds me and meowsuntil I turn it off. Plus if I sleep past 6am, she will stand on my chest and meow until I get up, I guess she does not want me to be late for work.

For Banshee, licking plastic bags is the result of an association the cat made. It may be difficult to understand what went in his mind to make that association but most of the time, it is a traumatic event that might have happen while you were away. Try to see when he does this. Is it when he is stressed? when he's being chased by Mikey? When someone in particular is around? When a particular sound or an event occur? If so, Banshee ade a association with the plastic bag as part of relaxing routine. Most cat will lick themselves when they are stressed or to send a signal to another cat that they are not being confrontationnal. But they may lick something else if that's what they were doing the first time a traumatic event happen and suddenly stop. Exemple : One of my case was a cat that was licking the bed sheet everytime she was stressed because one time a thunderstorm struck near his house and she ran to the bed. As she was licking herself freneticly she also licked the bed sheet as well. Since there were no other lightning she made the association that by licking the bed sheet, bad things were going away. For Mikey chewing electrical wires, you have there a classic problem of a cat that chewing wires when they are young to make their teeths and find it fun. You should always educate a young cat to never chew wires. Also, sometimes people plays with strings that ressemble wires, therefore you can't be surprise that a cat will try to play and found out that electric wires are fun. It's very difficult to solve that problem. Punishment rarely works as they will associate it with you. The best thing to do is go by some Wire-O binding rings and cover your wires with it before he electrocutate himself. Mikey is also clearly the dominant cat in the house. He establish that by pushing off other cats from his territory. If the bitting is not hurting anyone, let it be. He is the boss and the other cat have to learn that. If the bitting is leaving scares then write me and I'll help you. Licking hair is the same as licking a cat companion. It's a sign of acceptance. Wanting human food is normal. If you don't want him around at diner NEVER give him human food. If you budge one time, then you're done for life. Human food is delicious for them. Avoid Chocolate (poison for them), Milk and very fat food like bacon or you might find yourself with a mess in the litter...or elsewhere. But raw chicken and ham is good for them. In fact it's better than canned food Good luck

Answers me back when I firmly tell him not to do something - he will miaow at me first and if I tell him again not to do something he will hiss at me.
He is usually such an affectionate cat!! he's just a bit cheeky.
Also if I give him a bit of real meat in his bowl - he will lift it out the bowl with his paw and play with it all over the kitchen and if he gets lucky with the kitchen door being open he will run through to the living room with it and hide it.
When he was younger I used to catch him peeing in the bathroom sink because it went straight down the plug hole and it was less mess for him!! I turned the tap on him everytime until he stopped doing it.
My cat also loves to eat potatoes and chips and will fight you for chocolate especially white chocolate.
When he is tired he sucks on my tops like I'm a big security blanket for him!!
Most cats have crazy habits -its why we love them

My cat jumps up onto the front door, and knocks on the letterbox by putting her paw inside and flicking it a few times. It's impossible to tell if it's the cat or a person.
She must have seen people doing this and noticed that the door opens soon after.
Sometimes she gets stuck on the door with her claws so when you open it she is swinging around.

We have one cat, Midge, who does this really weird tongue thing. When he finishes taking a drink of water, he'll sit by the water bowl with his tongue hanging out of his mouth and shaking!!!!! Not just the tip of his tongue, but the whole thing, more than an inch. And his expression while he does this is completely nonchalant, as if he doesn't even know he's doing it. Everyone who sees it just cracks up because it looks so weird. I've never seen a cat do this and I've known dozens of cats.

I once had a cat that went into other peoples kitchens if they left the windows open, and it would bring back dish mops and sponges. At christmas he would eat the baubles off the tree. Yes I did feed him. Think he was a burglar in a former life.

One of my cats is constantly bringing sticks into the house through the catflap, he then plays with them - taunting the stick as if it's alive! A few times he has progressed to real worms.
He also tries to get at our feet under the duvet, nibbling toes or lightly scratching our ankles, so we have to make sure we are fully tucked in if we hear him come into the bedroom.

She likes to drink from the running faucet.
She'd rather go without water for a whole day until someone comes home who can turn on the water for her. And pet her (and chat with her!) while she's having her refreshing drink...
She also likes to lie flat on her belly on the back of an armchair and then hangs all four legs down on both sides. Sort of like a lazy spider.

My 11month Bengal likes to eat cooked cabbage...I kid you not!!!He also sleeps in his basket which is on top of my wardrobe (but wont sleep in it if it's on the floor)He always sits on the side of the bath while I'm in it and if I wash my hair with the shower leaning over the bath then he sits on my back....bless him.
Another funny thing he does is licks my partners head, probably a bit of male bonding!!
He has also taught himself how to pull open the drawers under my bed and can open the cupboard doors in the lounge....he's not only gorgeous but really clever too.
