i know i know, its easier to listen to some strangers advice than to actually do that advice.
just walk up to him and say something like hey i really wanted to go see _________ movie. but none of my friends can go.....do you want to go??
i understand if you cant.....its okay....
depending on what he says you will be able to tell if he is interested in you or if he just likes you as a friend......you could start things off as just a friend thing and then get more into it as a couple sort of thing!

In my opinion, you shouldn't ask a guy out. Let him get to know you and maybe he might like you and even ask you out. Be yourself and flirt with him.

Dress sexy (show some cleavage), flirt with him a little and make some flattering comments. You'll certainly have his attention and most likely he'll ask YOU out.
