Dont give her anyting if poison control told you not to. Petroleum based products usually pass through a childs system. The danger comes from the child vomiting and aspirating the petrol product into her lungs. that is the real danger. giving her something will increas that chance. that is why they said do not give her anything and to watch her. If you are in doubt head to the emergency room.

unless poison control advised you to give her something you should not do so. in a first aid supply you should have ipicat and charcoal the ipicat causes a person to vomit and the charcoal is given to absorb things that were ingested. unless poison control said to use them don't but in the future you should have both on hand at all times. these are the two things that you might not have on hand that poison control might suggest you give to a person who had some poison . the others are milk or water.
so i hope you child is fine now . please do get the two products i have mentioned as they should be a part of a home first aid kit

Don't feed her ANYTHING, and just follow what the PCS said, which is to watch her. If anything what absorbs poisons is charcoal, but that's a DOCTOR'S decision to make. If you're really worried just call an ambulance and have her taken to the hospital where an EMT or doctor can make the decision on what to give her. Usually EMTs call the PCS though, so they'd say the same thing to them.

Take her to the ER. Don't take any chances. When I was a toddler my Dad was put in charge to babysit me. When my Mom came home I had an ant trap in my mouth. She freaked and brought me to the hospital to have my stomach pumped. I was their first child and was 2 years old. I have no recollection. I am now 54 and the oldest of 6. We still joke about it. Better to be safe than sorry.

smell her breath, there is a product that will make her throw up called syrup of epicac. However, some products will say do not induce vomiting. read the directions on the bottle, please take her to the emergency immediately, it is far better to be safe than sorry, if necessary they can pump her little tummy. Good luck, God bless.

By all means call your pediatrician, and if you can't reach them call the local ER!! This is not a situation where you should be soliciting advice from strangers over the Internet!!

I would call her Pediatrician or the Emergency room and see what they say. That is not something that you want to mess around with or take your chances on!
