I would love to see the 3 car back on the track but I don't want to see anyone else in it but Dale sr. Since he is no longer with us I would have to say no. It would be cool to see what they did a few years back and had the #3 do a pass lap around the field with Richard Childress in it. I would like to see the three car retired. Dale Earnhardt drove it most of his nascar caree. I know in 1975 three drivers drove it. The only two other drivers that drove it for a full season was Ricky Rudd and Richard Childress. So I think it should be retired. People say it is not fair to retire The #3 and Not the #43. But If you look at what happend Dale died in a race and was a legend. Richard Petty retired and was a legend. It would have been different if Dale retired like Richard Petty. But he died so I would love to see the car Retired.

That would be the bomb, BUT he better epitomize his father's name. He is junior, and he is nothing like his father in racing, to include the record his father held regarding wins after the time Sr versus Jr equality of years. Been watching him for a few years. When his father died, I mourned for him. I saw the race. If JR can straighten up his attitude and remember his father the right way (regarding Teresa) then I think he has the right to his #. If he continues the way he has been the last 3 years at least, then no, no one including him should every have that number and that number should be retired from racing, just as they are in all sports. It's not about money when you commemorate a legend as Dale Earnhardt, SR was.

I think that the #3 should be retired, just like the #43 should be retired. Let Jr go to RCR and drive #8 Budweiser Chevy. Let Teresa run DEI into the ground, then Jr can go buy it back from her....long way to go to get what's rightfully his, but would work.

Even tho Jr. is his son still no one should ever drive the 3 again. Leave Jr with his red Bud 8. You know that it just won't look right with anyone else in the 3 car and the 3 won't look right with anything but Goodwrench and black and 3 and SR.

i might elect to work out Jr. flow to RCR andcontinual the type 3 goodwrench motor vehicle. i'm in simple terms uncertain a pair of type 3 bud motor vehicle. does no longer be the comparable. i've got faith Goodwrench might come decrease back as a sponsor if it became the three they have been backing. Richard already reported if the three comes decrease back on the music it is going to likely be pushed via an Earnhardt

Honestly I would not ever want to see anyone drive the #3... That was Dale's car and always will be. It would just bring back too many bad feelings to see that #3 on the track.

Not oly would I like to see him in the #3 I would love to see him at RCR with Kevin as a teammate. Over the past two years I've really taken a liking to Harvick. I like what him and Delana (sorry If I spelled that wrong) are doing. All together it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling! Watta stick it to Teresa!

Me! Richard Childress builds quality repeatable race cars. Personally I'm sick when I see Dale Jr. hop in DEI's 8 cars and not handle worth a hoot on race day. I'm sure we've all heard him say: The handles gone, what did you guys do to it?

I don't think Junior would run under his dad's number. Besides his owns the rights to #8 and its logo. They are both (junior and 8) tied together. one cannot work without the other.
I think he would move to a different team but take his number eight and sponsor with him, just like waltrip did with napa and #55.
But Junior will get his way. DEI without Junior will simply fade away ... and Theresa knows that pretty well.
