A person should tithe to their church, and anything above and beyond will be blessed. There are many false religious organizations out there. You have to read your Bible to see if they are on the up and up. Another thing is if you tithe to a religious organization, and you pass away. Who will have your funeral? That is why it is important to tithe to someone you know, and is following the Bible. We have been taught that you read your Bible to see what they are preaching is the truth. Don't take the word of man. Go back over what they have taught you. I take notes, and write down all the vrs.

Yes. However in the NT there is no command to tithe a tenth (since we are not under law but grace). But the tithe is mentioned in Luke 18:9-14; 1 Cor. 16:1; 2 Cor. 8).
Those who received tithes the OT consisted of priests (Num. 18:21-32). Further OT references are Gen. 14:20; 28:22; 2 Chron. 31:5f; Mal. 3:7-12).

No, absolutely not. That would be giving, but not tithing. Tithing (which is not a command in the NT) is giving 1/10 of your increase to the church where you worship.

Man i have never heard so many dumb answers. I use the word dumb because no other is fitting. We tith in obidence to the example of Aberham example and also in accordence to the instruction of God word. God blessed those who tith. Because in tithing to your church you have made God Lord over your finances. If you want to be poor don't tith at all you will soon be poor. The bibles states God will bless them that bless Israel so i would bless Israel because God does not lie period. And God oversees his word and is faithful. Were do you tith. Were is God directing you to tith to. Pays to develope a ear to hear.

Absolutely. When you give back to God form the heart, as long as it is going into a fruitful ministry it is serving in Gods kingdom and that is what he desires his moneys to be used for.

My god people. If there is a god, do you really think he is that pety. Like really doubt who you gave your money to, and how much is really going to come into question when the almighty is judgeing you.
