Well considering they were strays, they probably have a tad bit of feral (wild) tendencies in them. If she has gas frequently, you need to change their food, and give them something hearty and whole, not the cheapest you can find. Canned food is NOT a must with cats btw.
Her meowing could be a simple want of possibly going back into the wild. Meaning she doesn't like being in a house. And as a female cat is- they are way more demanding than male cats to begin with, due to their make ups. My guess is that she is still adjusting to her new surroundings. When we moved homes, one of my cats meowed foreeeever until finally one day he just stopped and accepted the new house.

Female cats are not at all like male cats. Thet tend to be much more annoying and spoiled. If you're offering her that many kinds of food, don`t worry, she'll eat sooner or later. If you see she doesn't touch the food at all, try other brands. She's not going to be so playful, give her time to get used to the place and people near you. Pet her just for a few seconds, she'll be fine. Female cats, again, are more temperamental and serious.. If she cries too much maybe she's pregnant, check her nipples, if they're reddish and swollen she is. Good luck!

Your cat is very vocal and that is all. See if she responds to catnip. Some do and some don't. Keep the dry cat food to avoid dental problems associated with canned food. Avoid human food which can lead to obesity and finicky eating behavior. Let her talk away. Have a purrfect year.

Maybe she is just a very vocal cat.Other than that as long as she is eating and drinking, and going in her litter box for urinating and defecating, and as you have had her spayed and her shots., I wouldn't know what else to tell you. I would talk to her and give her a lot of attention. Like I said maybe she is just talkative. Good luck and God bless you for taking in these cats!!!

Maybe she has some Siamese in her, they are very vocal or maybe she is just a "talker". Have you tried catnip? I have a 5 month old male who is a "talker", he calls and "chirps" often, usually he just wants some reassurance and a little attention. I am assuming that since you have seen the vet, she is not in pain and is healthy.

my cats do the same thing.she;s just meowing to tell you thank- you for being nice to me and she probably wants to tell you she has never been so happy....cats got their own personalities' and soon you'll know by their meows; what she wants or sometimes they like to hear their own voice....thank you for adopting the kitties and i can tell your a caring and loving pet owner.....now when your babies get a little bigger and more relaxed'they should get spayed and neutered....good luck and god bless you and yours,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Just give her attention. It may just be her. Girl cats are not always affectionate as boys.
