I do not have any nice clothes, but my godmother promised to get me some, and drive me there and back. But she says she is doing it so that I could catch a man, better a prince.
I am not sure if I should accept her offer. I do not want to be

An opportunity to get dressed up and attend a social event . . . And, your Godmother has offered to have a nice dress for you to wear . . . Of course, attend the ball. To attend the ball, dance, socialize, enjoy a nice evening...Yes, go. Yet, go to enjoy the evening...not to ' catch a man or prince '. If you and a man happen to notice each other at the Ball and you find that you enjoy each others conversation and company...all the better. But, go to the ball to enjoy the event...not to ' shop ' for a guy. You're above that.

Go to the dance. There are some beautiful dresses waiting to be had at the local bargain shop. Check out the Salvation Army or some second hand shops. You would be surprised what you can find. Why pay for a brand new gown you might wear only once? Some of those old prom dresses would make beautiful ball gowns and they could be tailored to you. Have it dry cleaned and presto you can afford to go ....just like Cinderella.

I think people in glass slippers look silly so whatever make sure you have some sensible dancing shoes o. If you see a dancing frog then dance with him for when you kiss him he will become a Prince.Avoid the Prince for if you kiss him he will become a frog.
