I have naturally straight hair, and I want to do something different with it and I think scrunched hair looks really pretty. What's the best way to do it?

I take a shower in the morning, and soon after I'm out and dried off (so my hair doesn't get to dry) I spray my hair with spray gel and comb that through. Then I use regular gel, squeeze it in my hands and apply it to my hair with my fingers. Once it's worked evenly through I just scrunch my hair up with my hands. If you don't get enough scruch try some more gel. Sometimes I have to gel it two or three times before it's "scrunchy" enough. Sometimes I scrunch all my hair up to the top of my head and hold it all there in a bun/ponytail. After about five minutes I let it down and it is really scrunchy. Hope this helps, it's kind of hard to describe. Good luck. (Oh yeah, finish off with hair spray or sculpting spritz to hold the scrunch in place).

My friends, take a shower and wash their hair really good. Then while their hair is wet they put lots of gel in it. Then they simply scrunch their hair with their hands, then let it dry. Good Luck!

LOTS of hairspray. Sebastian Shaper Plus Mega Hold is a good one. Part on the middle, spray, scrunch and put into 2 buns on each side. let it dry, then repeat or use a diffuser on a blow dryer.

Use curling shampoo and conditioner then use mousse with extra hold and scrunch with your hands when your hair is still damp, then let air dry. Good Luck!

It's hard to do if you don't have any natural waves in your hair. But you can try, while your hair is wet, add some curling gel or mousse, turn your head upside down so your hair falls in front of you and squeeze your hair with your hands.

For me I start with just towel dried hair so it is still fairly damp then use gel or mousse I like mousse cause it is less sticky the scruch away flip your head upside down to get a lot more fullness.

Try braiding it and sleep on it over night and then take it out in the mornings. Otherwise, put some kind of curl cream in it when it's wet, put it up into a messy bun and let it dry. Then take it out.
