There is a volunteer veterinary association that operates a cat sanctuary in the Largo Argentina. You can hang out and watch the cats playing in the ruins there. They feed the cats and give them any necessary medical treatment.

Yeah, there are lots and lots around the Colisseum, especially on the sides of the pathway from the Colisseum up to the Arch of Titus. There are also lots in other ruins, just in areas that you can't get to because they're fenced off. If you look over the fences you'll see them.

yep it was a problem so they moved all the cats into ruins of Largo Argentina a place close to Colosseo and now there r many people and associations that take care of theme! and it's alwyas nice have a look down to that ruins and watch at that funny animals!

ye they are still in Rome roaming and being taken care by voluntary associations!u can find them as they said around the Colosseum but u can watched them around the pyramid just across the train station where u can catch a train to Ostia Antica

Cats are in "Largo Argentina" area.
It's a special place near Piazza Venezia, people can't go in and it's under the street level, so cats are safe.
In town there are so many cars and cats dead
