CNN recently reported (02/15/07) that the NFL refused to accept an advertisement from the US Border Patrol, looking for agents, that was to run in the Super Bowl program. NFL stated that the content was too controversal for it's fans. I'm guessing that the vast majority of viewers would be happy to read of the support of the NFL in national security matters. Let's get rid of the so called political correctness, and stand up for America, or find new leaders in the NFL who are willing to do so. I urge you to make your voices heard.

Well your guess is wrong. They know what they are doing and for their own reasons. One of them being that NFL fans don't want to deal with political bullsh*&, they just want to watch a football game and enjoy the moment. Stop suggesting that is has to do with not standing up for America. It's all about advertising and doing right.

The way they secured that place it became a political item. They had dogs for bombs, every container was checked out, every person thru the gates were subjected to being pat down for weapons, etc, etc. It might be they just can't stand and watch agents being arrested right and left. Are maybe Mexico advised the NFL they may not run that ad

Become a Border Patrol agent and you too, can be expendable.
You too, can be send to prison for doing your job. Johnny Sutton loves his agents and supports them all the way to the Big house.

I do support Border Patrol.

But I can see as how the commercial can be controversial. SuPer Bowl is entartainment, companies try to make "funny" commercials there to fit entertaining.

The NFL is trying to get to the illegal aliens as fans. They want to convert them to Football fans. The majority (80%) of illegal aliens are hispanic soccer fans.
