If you are to be like Jesus, maybe you should become a Jew???
Just a thought.
Since God, Jesus, Joseph and Mary will be sitting in heaven as Jews, won't you feel left out as a bible worshiping, preacher listening Christian?

SLJ: However there ARE still Practicing Jews....and they have gone on strong for centuries, so I guess the bible's little 'prediction' is wrong.

This is a great question!
If Jesus existed, he would have been a jew, and would never have said anything that would make a jew go against the Torah, or do away with it. "To fulfil the law" is a rabbinic midrash which simply means to make it more clear.. it does not mean that the Torah is not for today for the jewish people.
Those gentiles who would want to convert would need to go through the actual conversion process.. most christians I know would never make it.

Christ was a Jew, but he followed only the true Jewish laws, not the ones that were imposed by tradition. For instance God said not to work on the Sabbath, but the Jewish priests had to decide what qualified as work - like would walking ankle deep through a water puddle be appropriate, or should you walk around it, or could you only not walk knee-deep through it? So despite all the traditions the priests imposed, Christ lived according to pure Judaism, and taught things like "it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath" (Matt 12:12).
We live according to the Holy Spirit, not by a book of laws and traditions. The Spirit personally reveals to us what is of God and what is not. Since the Spirit is from God, it conveys to us what is God's true laws. So although we do not "follow" the Old Testament, we still uphold the true laws by living according to the Spirit. For whatever laws God conveyed in the Old Testament, being unchanging, he would also convey them through his Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a personal mediator of God's law. So although we are not under the supervision of the Law (Galatians 3:25) through the counsel of the Holy Spirit we still uphold God's true Law (Romans 3:31)
"I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts" Jeremiah 31:33

The Apostle Paul was sent to the gentiles.
He did not say we had to become Jews.
In fact he corrected other Jews who were trying to make gentiles become Jews.
There are many Jews who believe Jesus to be the Messiah.
They do not have to become Christians.
They are called Messianic Jews or Hebrew Christians.

Jesus was perfect and without sin under the Laws of God that God had presented to Israel as a people.
Anyone who is born of God through faith in Jesus Christ, actually are Jewish through Jesus Christ, adoption into the family of God.
Born agains Christians are born of God. Born of His Spirit, cleansed by His Blood, joint heirs with Jesus, part of the Family of God.

No, the Scripture tells us that we are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:27-29 (New Living Translation)
27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.[a] 28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile,[b] slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children[c] of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
