If you are talking about the W2's you need to wait for them, to file, have you contacted the employer for the missing W2? If not call them to see if they were sent, if they were sent and If by Feb 15th you have not received it, call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

You have 3 out of 4 tax returns?? That doesn't make sense. A tax return is the form (1040, 1040A or 1040EZ) that you file with the IRS that lists your income, exemptions, deductions, taxes paid and calculates your tax liability and any refund or balance due. You can only file ONE tax return for any tax year.
Maybe you mean you have 3 out of 4 W2s? If that's the case, you need all 4 in order to file a legal tax return. So, no, you can't file now and then file again later.
If you filed now with one W2 missing, you'd have to file an amended return on Form 1040X to correct the improperly filed return. Most of the time when you do that, you'll owe extra tax with the amended return since you got too large of a refund with the initial filing.

I'm assuming you mean your W-2 form. You cannot file without your W-2. It will look like you made less money than you did. First of all, the company where it was supposed to be coming from should've sent it before Jan. 31. If they haven't you can file a complaint and they can be fined and all that jazz. Have you called them yet? Ok, if it is a W-2 then you can use a W-2 substitute form. I suggest you use a tax program such as TurboTax to get this done because it leads you through all of the steps and asks you the same questions that an H&R Block representative would ask you. If all else fails, you can amend a tax return that you've sent but I think it's all got to be done by April 16--even the amendment! Your best bet is to call the place you're supposed to be getting it from. If that doesn't work (or if you're absolutely sick of waiting) do the W-2 substitution (you'll need your last paystub of the year) form and file it that way.

No, you have to file ALL of your income at the same time. But you should have received them all by now - have you called your employer for the missing one, and asked what happened to it? If they say they sent it, ask them to send you another one since you didn't get the original - you might just go pick it up if that's convenient, then you'd have it.
Your other option is to call the IRS and tell them about the problem. If you have your last paystub so you know the numbers, they might be able to help you file without the actual W-2.

I'm guessing you are talking about your W2's. You should wait on the last one, it will be much simpler for you. You should have received it by now, so call the company and ask them to send you a copy. Most companies prefer you wait two weeks to allow for slow mail, and that time has now passed.
If you file it now, you will have to file an amended return. The IRS may also delay accepting your return and processing your refund if the information they have doesn't match your return.

Do you mean you have W-2s and/or 1099s? If so, you HAVE to wait. If you file it now you will only have to amend it later. That is a waste of time energy and it give the IRS another chance to mess things up.
