I've heard that the attraction for shopping (including for shoes) goes back to our cave people days. Men were hunters and there for more action oriented (why men go into a store and get something and leave without shopping around). Women were gatherers of fruits and other foods (thus liking to collect things and translating into modern shopping).
I'm not sure if it's true or not but it makes sense on some levels anyway. Maybe that can partially explain your sister's behavior. LOL

Yes... because the size is smaller than their purse. Most women will buy shoes because they saw that same pair being worn by another woman and they want to look just like the other person. Small shoes creates bunions and corns..... most women will pass over comfort for style and price [something to brag about].

I DON'T MIND WOMEN BUYING SHOES DUDE But why the hell do they go round all the shoe shops in a 100 mile radius and then drag you back to the first bloody shop to buy the first pair they looked at - they've just worn out a pair walking around - don't make sense

You cant have too many pairs of shoes, For me its the look of them and well just to know you have them....its a comfort thing I think! You see them get them and I love every pair of mine....my ex didnt lol Im lucky to have quite small feet ,size 4 but can do a 3 in some labels.

Because they make us feel good - they are on a plane that most men can't even begin to understand. We like to shop for them (thus why we go to every shoe store), buy them, wear them, and compliment each other on them. I wish I had more cash to buy shoes.

Two reasons
1) Buy shoes to small and hope the entire body shrinks to fit.
2) Don't know how to polish shoes. So have to replace.

We like to look nice and enjoy variety in our attire and accessories.
However buying shoes that are too small seems rather foolish, uncomfortable, and a waste of money.

because shoes nearly always look good, see with other types of clothes lots of women worry about looking thin, and finding their size, this can be aggravating and often tedious but with shoes you have your size which makes it easy to buy tons of pairs plus shoes are SO cute.

I buy lots of shoes too but my feet hurt, maybe this is true for your sister, but too small? That is strange, maybe she gets them with the price marked down.

Exactly. It's fun, and its necessary to coordinate outfits. Plus, certain shoes ..and boots..look cute and are must-haves. Its sex appeal, in some cases, its fun..shopping in others..
Why do guys like to buy cars and car parts?
