Her nose is wet and cold. She gets shivers, but always does when she doesn't feel well or is scared. She deficated and urinated today and drank just a little water. Has not thrown up since last night, but is worn out and not hungry.

That sounds like parvovirus. Is there diaraeah too? You need to get your dog to a vet right away. It can be cured if you catch it early, but if not it is fatal. Its also highly contagious, so if you have other dogs, keep them away. Hope that helps.

The cold wet nose is an old wives tale and is not accurate by any means. It sounds as though one of two things happened; she ate something that could be lodged in her stomach or she has had a bad reaction to some kind of food or medicine. The best thing to do is take her to the vet and if you can get a sample of the vomit and maybe a stool sample to take with you. This will help the vet recognize the problems more quickly.

She may have eaten something that is making him or her sick. Take her to the vet. I know coffee grounds will also kill your pet. I was told from my vet.
