Girls can but can guys develop a "crush" on a girl that he doesn't talk to or see a lot?

YES. Attraction and impressions don't take all that much. If you make an impression that lasts, you'll be in his thoughts all the time, and the less of you he see's the more glorified you will become.

Ofcourse. I think the question should be reverse. Females have an image to deal with. Most girls dont go for looks, but guys do. Girls end up having a crush on a guy mostly by talkin to him or get to know him but for a dude, all we see are beauty and we can have big infatuation. So i think the question should be reverse.

Absolutely! Sometimes crushes are intensified by some abscence. A cute girl with a great personailty that a guy only sees from time to time is likely to drive him wild more than the one he sees every day!
Shyness would be the reason for not talking to more than likely. He may be VERY worried about sounding stupid!

I would think a guy could get a crush on a girl after seeing her for a minute across a crowded room....
Crush implying that it's purely a physical/chemical reaction and not a real relationship.

Sure. Guys can develop crushes just like girls do. The only difference is that girls tell all there friends and boys tend to keep it to themselves.

you usually have a crush on someone who is hard to get or a challenge. In other words you want what you cant easily have when it comes to romance. So that's why it is more likey to develope a crush on someone who is less available to you than someone who is more available.
