What's up guys n gals. I was just wondering, how much did you all end up spending up for a full sleeve? (per arm) I'm working on mine right now, I know it depends on how good the tats are, but i'm just wondering what you all have spent on average. Thanks! Also,,,,,you guys got any pics of em?

A very rough algorithm you might use is that a (good) artist does up to 12 sq inches (note: not a square foot) per hour. Assume also about $100 per hour, again for a good artist. Assume an average arm of ~21" length and ~11" average circumference for 231 sq inches.
Plugging the numbers in (oooh, I heart math) and I see 19.25 hours or $1925. Round up and add some for the prep work, making $2k per arm probably a steal.
Oh, and I'm not counting tips. You do tip, right? :)

My bf has full sleeves from an amazing artist and as far as I know it cost him a little over four thousand dollars. But his are very detailed and were done by a well known artist so yours probably won't cost that much. My best friend has sleeves and his only cost like two thousand.

go to www.ratemyink.com (in the top ten list) there are some of the illest sleeves I've ever seen, probably cost more than my car though (I got a $hittty car).
Personally I dont really like the look of (most) sleeves, its like they're wearing really tight, decorative spandex or something.

well i don't have a sleeve, but if the tattoo that i have on my back were on my arm... it would be more than a sleeve and it has so far cost me... a lot. a little over $1,000. i still have about 9 hours to go.

my neighbor is actually in the process of getting a tribal designed sleeve on his right arm. he drew the design up himself its supposed to symbolize his background. hes doing it in about 5 sittings, and its just in black, and it cost him 700.

it can vary I mean my back mural cost me $900/ but that was a friends shop, some artist charge by the hour and some by the piece which can make a big difference on the cost, you are looking at over a grand
