My ex is like 15,000 behind in child support. He left the country and went to Taipei. I hired outside help, but they didn't seem to do much. The Ohio CSEA wont do crap, or even try. I am supporting us okay, but a little help would be nice! I don't qualify for government help due to my income. Bounty hunter maybe?

dont go with a bounty hunter. the cost alone would wipe out any of the money that you MIGHT get.
as long as he is out of counrty, your SOL. just file on him so that its always on record and he will get picked up when he comes back.

I would say register him with your state as someone who has not paid child support. If he ever tries to work in the US or for the government his wages will automatically be garnished. As for getting blood from a turnip I think you are out of luck with getting anything from him if he is in another country especially that one. However, you should qualify for support programs like WIC and maybe Welfare at least until you get on your feet.
If you keep paying money for things like bounty hunters you will leave your child without the food, clothes and shelter that you are trying so desperately to give.

I don't think there's anything you can do. I doubt there's exradition for failing to pay child support and on top of it you have to deal with the laws of another country where such laws may not exist. Bounty hunters only go after their bounties, meaning people who skipped out on the bail they paid for them. I'd forget about it for now, report him so that if he comes back to the country maybe they can get him.

Sorry but the likely hood you can get a foreign country to enforce a State Child Support order is about 0. I would save my money for child care instead of trying to hunt the guy down and trying to force him to not be a dead beat dad.

If you can afford a bounty hunter, I'd do it. And if your court order exists in the U.S., he'll be arrested.

If he is not paying and has moved to another country move to terminate his parental rights and then just be happy the crud is out of your life then move on with it.
