He still has feelings for you, but I'm assuming you dumped him for a good reason. Just start doing things your self in woods class. Stop flirting with other guys when your around him. He needs time to let go and to move on. After he doesn't talk to you as much, or when he does is normal, then you can talk to other guys. I mean, talk to other guys in woods class. You can talk to guys the rest of the day too...

It sounds as if your ex isn't quite over you-- like he still has the jealousy, but doesn't want to commit to being with you, either. Essentially, it seems like he wants the best of both worlds. If you're really over him (and it does sound like he's a bit of a jerk), make a point of talking to other guys, and calmly reject his help when he tries to assist you.

You probably joined that class just for that purpose. If you actually wanted to learn about woodworking - then you wouldn't need to be asking for help all the time.

To be honest, its actually pretty obvious that he still has feelings for you, and you might not have the same feelings back.
You, might feel like you guys are over done, history.
While, he thinks you guys still have a thing.
I think, if you don't feel the same way still be direct and tell him,
"I don't have feelings for you anymore, and I am feeling like you still have feelings for me. But, I need you to know that we can't get back together, because I don't wan't to. But we can still be friends."
Hopefully, that won't hit him too hard.

You should take an English class instead of "woods" class

it means he still likes you. And its obvious... But dont give into his kindness so easy and think he wants you back...play it cool so he regrets letting you go in the first place.
