My license in NC was revoked about 2 or 3 years ago because of unpaid non-moving violations in NY that occured after I moved (the car was on the street in front of my old house with no insurance I think, and the tags may have been expired or not even on the car) The person who was supposed to take it to a junkyard left it there for about 2 weeks.
My question is, how were they able to revoke my license over parking tickets?? Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this? is there a possibility that I can apply for a new license since its been so long? I just bought a car and I need to register it asap. I really appreciate any help, thank you!

Yep, NYS charges about $9 a day for not turning the plates in. Then they report that to NC who in turn can suspend your NC tags for the suspension in NYS.

First of all you should not get your license back but I would have to guess that it did not matter the first time that you had no license so why should you worry about it now you will still drive anyway right and if I had to bet on it you do not have insurance either do you,People like you should never drive a car because you have no respect for the laws.

in NY, if your tags are expired and you DO NOT return them to Motor Vehicles, your registration will be suspended.

if your insurance on that registration runs out, and you DO NOT return the plates, your license will be suspended or revoked.

you cannot have plates in your possession, without maintaining registration and INSURANCE.

it has nothing to do with parking tickets.

you will have to pay a fine ( in NY ) which amounts to ( don't quote me, because I think it may be low-balled ) of $8 for EVERY DAY that you had the plates, and did not have insurance!!

That amounts to an awful lot of money!!!!

I have no clue about N.C....but, that's the way it is in NY......sorry
