well one time i was at this resturant sitting down with my friends and then i was telling them how this one girl was being kinda mean to me...everyone was playing with my cell phone and then this one boy decided to text her telling her very mean things. So he wrote it and never sent it i think someone might have accidently sent it not knowing and the girl got the text message! i called her right away and told her that i would never say anything that was in the text message and she said i know. but then later her dad called my dad telling my dad that this boy sent her a text message on my phone! i got in really big trouble even though it was an ccident and it wasnt me and no one wants to admit that they did it so they told their parents it wasnt them. so now some people think its me. and of course my parents want my name cleared so my father want me to go out to breakfast with the boy and the parents to figure out who did it. no one wants to get in trouble! what should i do?

First breath, relax. O.K. Just tell the truth and obey your parents. It will be fine. I know it seems like a major crises right now but look further into the future. Do you really think this is a big deal in the grand scheme of things? Odds are, your parents love you and want whats best for you. Trust them and don't let your friends play with your phone anymore.

Well, if they cant tell the truth to their friends and stick up for you then they are not ur friends. Pull a little guilt on their shoulders. Tell them that you got into so much trouble and that your parents might take ur cell phone away. They should feel guilty and come out with the truth. IF they dont then dump em' if they cant tell the truth then they are never worth it.

Dont take the rap for your friend if he did something wrong he should just confess and be done with it. It sounds like you need new friends though. Sending rude texts is just that RUDE but it apparently hurt the girl enough that she had to tell her parents and they had to tell yours. I think you should apoligize and go the breakfast and tell the truth. What is really going to happen if you tell them what happened? You wont die and it will be over lol. Good luck

Good luck with this one, my friend. I am not sure, however, that this is going to be a really big deal in the long run. It seems to me like nobody really thinks you sent it, and the boy who wrote it admits that he did, then who will ever know who sent it? Best thing is to keep your cellphone in your hands and let your friends get their own. No way to really resolve this except to go on.

I think everyone here needs to get a life!!. I mean what was said about this girl that was SOOOOOOOO bad that it need to go to that extent of sorting it out. It's a waste of time doing this, don't these parents have better things to do with their time. And any way why is this girl acting so inocent when she was being mean to you. Tell them all to get lost and don't go to this stupid breakfast. If you did nothing wrong then you shouldn't have to justify yourself. Good luck mate.

Take the blame and get it over with. I know you didn't do it, but take one for the team if you don't want anyone in trouble. Get away from the boy who started it. He is a trouble maker. I am sure he did it on purpose. That is why somethings are better left unsaid.Good luck

If you didnt do it, you didnt do it. If your friends were really your friends they would tell you that they did it and just admit to it. I think you should go out with the girl and her parents, make a plan tricking your friends into telling you that it was them, then dont talk to them for an hour, then tell them that you will never trust them again if they dont tell the truth.

I would continue to tell your parents it wasn't you and even offer to apoligize even though it wasn't your fault to this girl and her parents, hopefully by your example your friend will follow and do the same. Also for future reference make sure you put a code on your phone so other people can't do that again
