It was hard to hand them over and its weird I kinda miss them and want them back. It kinda makes me feel alone now and confused. Really really confused. And sad. Has anyone experienced this?

That was very brave of you to know you might harm yourself and gave the pills to your doctor. Do you live alone? If not maybe have someone hold onto the pills for you and give you them when you need them. I would make another appt. with your psychiatrist and talk it over with them. I know how hard it is when you feel there is no way out but to kill yourself. Believe me I tried it 10 years ago. If I had succeeded I would have missed out on so much. I have two beautiful children and a husband who has put up with me and all of my problems all these years. It will get better. It may not be perfect but it will get better. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you.

Well, if you need the pills or were prescribed them, then you probably do miss them. You could always have someone keep the medicine for you and give you the amount you need daily. You would have to set that up with your doctor and someone responsible. I hope you are feeling better soon. You did the right thing. You probably will need some sort of treatment program to help you with your medicine and counseling for your depression. So don't give up. You are on the right track.

I kind of felt the same way but with sometihng else, I would think the reason you feel that way is because its comforting makes you feel safe. I would try to find a hobby that makes you feel safe or if you want to just get that high what I would do is try to find something to give you that will replace that "high", depending on how old you are and independent try to do some daring things like supervised bungi-jumping or parachuting out of a plane. Try making something and finishing it like painting, try to skateboard and do a halfpipe. Do something fun, like crankcalling, party with close friends and watch everyone else drink now that will take away your sadness to watch everyone make a fool of themselves, I have done that, talk about funny!!!!!! Sorry about the spelling.
