You have practically answered your own question by asking it. Atheism is a concept and, as such, does not need to exist as a tangible thing. Since you ask about "Atheism," you provide proof that "Atheism" exists. Whatever "Atheism" may mean, at the very least, it has been thought, so it is.
Parallel: "Does Chrstianity exist or not?" Mind you, this question does not ask if there really is a God or Jesus, but if there is a belief system of such. Well, does it? Even if I have only just imagined it up now, the concept now exists such that my question proves itself. Meanwhile, it proves nothing in terms of whether said belief system is accurate in depicting ultimate reality.

Atheism may exist. But no one is exempt from the "worship" mutation that came with our abstract reasoning.
Proof: Folks who do not worship the Bible God, or other
Gods, find someone else or something else to worship.
Examples: Rock and Roll stars, movie stars, sports heroes, unicorns, miniature pyramids, famous authors, politicians, famous philosophers, and or even theories of creation and evolution,or other ideas.
Worship is a fixation associated with an exuberant and undue adulation of a person, place, thing, or idea, or philosophy, or theory.

I think I see your point. I dont think anyone is absolutely certain that no God exists. Everyone must have at least had a moment of doubt in their lives. But that doesn't make them theist either. I cant lie and say I've never had a doubt in my life regarding my beliefs but that does not mean I'm no longer a theist

Of course it does. It is the opposite of Theism, which is the "belief in the existence of one God viewed as the creative source of the human race and the world who transcends, yet is immanent in the world"
I do not believe in this "one God", or any higher powers for that matter. Therefore I am an Atheist.

I don't believe in a god or gods. Therefore I am an atheist by definition and therefore atheism exists.

Atheism is having no beliefs in any god(s). I have no beliefs in any god(s). Hence I am an atheist. I exist. No, I don't need to prove this to you. Hence atheism exists. QED.

Only for theists really, those people they label atheist who don't share their god delusion are just as happy to be afairyists or asuperstionists...take your pick
Do you believe in the God Thor and his mighty hammer?... if not you are an atheist as far as this God is concerned but more specifically you are an aThorist!
Do you think you are an aThorist?... do you think aThorists exist?
Do you believe in Bertram Russell's Celestial teapot that orbits in our solar system, are you a teapot believer? or are you an ateapotist?

Yes, it exists as much as theism exists, saying for certain "I love God, I know God, God is real, I KNOW it in my heart",
that's as pointless and evidence-less as saying
I know there is no God, there is no proof for God, therefore, he is not real....
But, that there is some 'creator' sky king who concocted an elaborate 'soul game' to test only human animals is HIGHLY unlikely and HIGHLY doubtful, to the point that to believe it when you really think about it outright is absurd.
There very well may be Some force, some 'creator',
but is it the old testament blood lust dude? yeah right.
The only one true God is a Jew, the bronze age Middle Eastern men who wrote a book said so....suuuuure.

Atheism is the belief that there is no God. Since there are people who believe that there is no God, atheism exists.

man exist as non-believer hence atheism exists. However, fundamental question is, can man truly deny his ultimate beginnings? Can he truly deny them in his heart?
