it was a mistake to go in. (IMHO, an honest mistake... what we knew was misleading, and even those who hate the war, largely supported it when it happened.... including those in washington who had enough access to the data that saying "bush lied" can't be used as an excuse.)
it was a mistake the way the aftermath was handled.
it was a mistake to wait so long to try and fix it.
the next mistake has not yet been clearly identified, but there probably will be one. (might be trying to limit the "surge" so people didn't reject it too much.)

it would be a bigger mistake to just pull out. i personnally do not know exactly what needs to be done, but i am hopeful that the recent change in tactics will be enough to stabilize the area so we can leave. not only for the good of iraqis, but to take our soldiers out of harms way.

As soon as someone in leadership tells the U.S. Military what constitutes a victory, the USA will win, but if Bush and his Republican bloodsuckers stay in power they will continue to loot the tax payers and kill our soldiers. It is a bloody immoral quagmire, and the only ones benefiting from it are the parasites like Haliburton.

It may take a century to sort things out. How long the IRA lasted?
It started in the 19th century I believe and those were Irish terrorists which were light weight terrorists compared to arab barbarians.
