If I had an terminal illness with no hope of recovery and was in great pain, yes I suppose I would take myself out. As for having failed in life, I've made sure I haven't...even if I died tonight I'd die knowing I lived a good life.

I didn't fail in my life so thats not an issue. As for anything else, nope. Except maybe to make sure my family is aware of how much I love them.

I don't remember my last death; and if I died today I don't think I would consider my life so far as a failure.
Unbearable physical pain would piss me off, but I have no idea how I would react. Do you?

It all depends on what you consider to be a failure in life!
Do you mean if you dont make a huge pile of money in your
life,your a failure?Or perhaps you dont become a famous
person,a celebrity,Gee! every one wants to be famous,dont
they?Believe it or not even people who have huge piles of money
get sick and suffer physical pain.And they die in misery.The
person who finds the truth in life is the one that can die with a
clear concious,weather they are poor or not,famous or not.The
people that think they have to become rich in this life are the
ones that will not see the real life. 1John2:16,17......
